Here is part 5, the last, of my 10 MUST-see TED Talks series!
I hope y’all enjoy it.
9. Steve Silberman: The forgotten history of autism
This video recaps the history of Autism. It is really amazing to listen to the history of Autism and how things have changed over the last 50+ years. I highly recommend this video to every parent with a child on the Spectrum. It is definitely a must-see!
10. Louie Schwartzberg: Nature. Beauty. Gratitude.
It is so easy to stress about small things day in and day out, without stopping and looking at how beautiful our surroundings can be. This video has nothing to do with Autism, yet it has everything to with the stresses that come with being a parent of a child on the Spectrum, all the other things that society seems to expect from us and how we don’t always seem to appreciate the small and simple things that surround us on a daily basis. It can be very difficult to count our blessings at times, but I hope that this video will bring about just a small slice of wonder that surrounds us every day.
What do you think about this list? Are there any TED Talks you would recommend?
